False Worship...What it Means

It is my hope that everyone has had a good start of the day and I pray for those who have not. I created this wooden book box for my mother-in-law, using her favorite colors, green and blue. It was nice to get back into some mixed media art. It takes time, but well worth the effort. Inside the box, I added some tags that I made with different verses, so that she can switch them out every month, if she chooses to do so. We can all use some inspiration during these trying times.

2 Timothy 3:1 ASV — But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.

As I share this project with you, I will be reflecting on what it means to practice false worship. It will be a reminder that it is ONLY JEHOVAH GOD through JESUS CHRIST that we must follow and obey, by His Word in the Holy Scriptures...the Bible.

Update 01/17/22:

I made some adjustments to my post and have left the links to Watchtower's own literature to show how hypocritical the JW Organization is, but this also applies to ALL Churches.

Matthew 23:3 ASV — all things therefore whatsoever they bid you, these do and observe: but do not ye after their works; for they say, and do not.

End update.

I'd like to start with...
  • What is a false prophet?
  • What does it mean when predictions are made, and they don't come true?
  • Do you know anyone who has predicted something that has not come true?
  • Did Armageddon happen in October 1975?
  • Was it predicted to happen?
  • Was it a stumbling block for many, including myself, a 7-year-old child?
It was in print..

Excerpt...

"With the appearance of the book Life Everlasting—in Freedom of the Sons of God, and its comments as to how appropriate it would be for the millennial reign of Christ to parallel the seventh millennium of man’s existence, considerable expectation was aroused regarding the year 1975... there were other statements published that implied that such realization of hopes by that year was more of a probability than a mere possibility.

Excerpts...

1. Things foretold would not come to pass.

  • Deuteronomy 18:20-22 If any prophet presumptuously speaks a word in my name that I did not command him to speak or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. 21 However, you may say in your heart: “How will we know that Jehovah has not spoken the word?” 22 When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word is not fulfilled or does not come true, then Jehovah did not speak that word. The prophet spoke it presumptuously. You should not fear him.’

2. His prophesying must promote true worship, being in harmony with God’s revealed word and commandments. Promoting true worship.
  • Deuteronomy 13:1-4  3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer, for Jehovah your God is testing you to know whether you love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul."
Break in excerpt...
  • What is Pure Worship?
  • Who do you follow?
  • Man, or Jehovah God's word, the Bible?
Excerpt continued...

"3. The last requirement was probably the most vital and decisive, for an individual might hypocritically use God’s name, and by coincidencehis prediction might see fulfillment...

...it was not necessary to wait perhaps for years or generations to determine whether the prophet was true or false by fulfillment of a prediction.

If his message contradicted God’s revealed will and standards, he was false. Thus, a prophet who foretold peace for Israel or Judah, at a time when the people were engaging in disobedience to God’s Word and Law, of necessity was false.—Jer 6:13, 14; 14:11-16.

Jesus’ later warning concerning false prophets paralleled that of Moses. Though using his name, and giving “signs and wonders to lead astray,” their fruits would prove them “workers of lawlessness.”—Mt 7:15-23; Mr 13:21-23; compare 2Pe 2:1-3; 1Jo 4:1-3."

What does it mean to be exclusive?

Exodus 34:14 ASV — for thou shalt worship no other god: for Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

Excerpt...

"Exclusive devotion, therefore, means keeping others out of, or excluded from, God’s position in our hearts and actions. Everyone and everything else stays outside this honored position that only he can hold."

Master and Slave Relationship.
"The right-minded person, on learning about Jehovah and appreciating his relationship with God, will voluntarily render exclusive devotion from the heart, which is what Jehovah desires." Mere formal devotion or worship he hates. (Mt 15:8, 9)"

Jesus’ Exclusive Devotion to God.
"In the prayer he taught his disciples, he started off with the words, “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.” (Mt 6:9) This devotion in Jesus was coupled with burning zeal, as manifested at his cleansing of the temple, where he fulfilled the prophecy, “The zeal for your house will eat me up.” (Joh 2:17; Ps 69:9)"

Is the Organization or the Church's belief system the Golden Calf?

Jealous for the Pure Worship of Jehovah
Excerpt...

The Golden Calf
"Jehovah entered into a covenant with the Israelites, promising to bless them and to bring them into the Promised Land. (Exodus 23:22, 31) And the people said: “All that Jehovah has spoken we are willing to do and be obedient.”—Exodus 24:7."

"Nevertheless, the Israelites soon sinned against God...It was claimed that this idol represented Jehovah. (Psalm 106:20) The next day they offered sacrifices and kept “bowing down to it.” Then they had “a good time.”—Exodus 32:1, 4, 6, 8, 17-19."

Do you know who your God is?
Is it Jehovah?

"The Bible is the world’s most studied and most widely circulated book, so everyone who values education ought to be acquainted with its contents."

"And your knowing the theme of the Bible will help you to realize that God used one ancient nation—with the goal of blessing all nations. —Psalm 147:19, 20."

"That Jehovah had this objective in dealing with Israel indicates that ‘he is not partial.’ (Acts 10:34; Galatians 3:14) Moreover, even while God was dealing primarily with Abraham’s descendants, people of other nations were welcome to come and also serve Jehovah. (1 Kings 8:41-43)"

Do you practice false worship?

Excerpt...

"An idol is an image, a representation of anything...usually practiced toward a real or supposed higher power, whether such power is believed to have animate existence (as a human, an animal, or an organization)."

Idolatry and God’s Covenant People. "The second of the Ten Commandments expressly prohibited making for worship a carved image or a representation of anything in the heavens, on the earth, or in the waters. (Ex 20:4, 5; De 5:8, 9) In his final exhortations to the Israelites, Moses emphasized the impossibility of making an image of the true God and warned them to beware of the snare of idolatry. (De 4:15-19)"

What is PURE worship of Jehovah?

 Excerpt...

"6. How does Jehovah react when his name is profaned?

Reason: Jehovah’s name is profaned.
Those who claim to represent Jehovah but who act wickedly damage his reputation and rightly provoke his anger. (Ezek. 36:23) As discussed in the preceding chapters of this publication, the nation of Israel brought great reproach on Jehovah’s name. Understandably, the nation’s attitudes and actions made Jehovah angry. But he never lost control of his rage—he punished his people only to the proper degree, never beyond it. (Jer. 30:11) And once Jehovah’s anger accomplished its purpose, it ended with no residual resentment.—Ps. 103:9."

End excerpt.

Mark 7:7-8 ASV — But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men.  Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men.
  • Who are Jehovah's people?
  • What is false worship?
  • Who carries His name?
  • Do you PROFANE it?

The Day of Jehovah is fast approaching, and He always gives ample warning.

Matthew 24:45 ASV — Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath set over his household, to give them their food in due season?
  • What does it mean to put out food at the proper time?
  • It is Jehovah who decides when that "proper time" will be.
  • What is this food, and when is the proper time?
It's up to us, as an "INDIVIDUAL" to show exclusive devotion to Jehovah God, and HONOR the SonJesus Christ, not an organization or church

Ask yourself:
  • Is it ONLY JEHOVAH that you're devoted to?
  • Do you do it THROUGH the Son, Jesus Christ?
Matthew 4:10 ASV — Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Deuteronomy 6:13-14 ASV — Thou shalt fear Jehovah thy God; and him shalt thou serve, and shalt swear by his name. Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples that are round about you;

We all have freewill.

The brotherhood is worldwide, regardless of religion, race, and belief, be it male or female. If you're exclusive to one group, then you're not exclusive to Jehovah. I love all of my brothers and sisters worldwide, regardless of who they are and what they believe, and you should too. We are all Jehovah God's children. Lean on Jehovah and He will guide you. (Joshua 1:8) (Proverbs 4:18) I love you and forgive you, just as I hope I am forgiven...I will pray for everyone, including my worst enemy.

Matthew 22:37-40 ASV — And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.

I go to the meetings for Jehovah. I am a Witness for Jehovah, and I am a disciple of Christ Jesus...I follow only God's Word, the Bible. I take the good out of the bad, finding the positive in every negative situation.

TRUST IN JEHOVAH...
LOVE Jehovah with ALL of your heart and yes, please... LOVE your neighbor.

Recipe Box (Key Ingredient) ~ LOVE

It's all about LOVE. What's the greatest gift you can give someone...LOVE. What's the greatest gift you can receive...LOVE. What are the two greatest commandments...

This was a plain wooden box that I painted and embellished with love. I used my cutting machine for the tab dividers. I also made the recipe book from scratch, which had been started quite some time ago, I used my Cinch tool to punch the holes for the book and to attach the wire binding. It's nice to finally have this project complete. It's going as a gift to a good home. It's my "thank you" for the hospitality kindly given to me this past winter.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ASV — Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil; rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Jeremiah 9:24-25 ASV — but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he hath understanding, and knoweth me, that I am Jehovah who exerciseth lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith Jehovah. Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will punish all them that are circumcised in their uncircumcision:

Romans 14:13-15 ASV — Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge ye this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock in his brother’s way, or an occasion of falling. I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: save that to him who accounteth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. For if because of meat thy brother is grieved, thou walkest no longer in love. Destroy not with thy meat him for whom Christ died.

Leviticus 19:18 ASV — Thou shalt not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people; but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am Jehovah.

You can't love Jehovah without loving the Son, Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 ASV — For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

You can't love the Son, without loving the One who sent him.

Luke 4:8 ASV — And Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

To know the Father, Jehovah...is to know the Son, Jesus Christ
They are LOVE.

1 John 5:20 ASV — And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Without love...You Have Nothing.

1 John 4:8 ASV — He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

"Fruitage of Spirit"

Galatians 5:22-23 ASV — But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.

Matthew 5:44 ASV — but I say unto you, Love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you;

We are ALL brothers and sisters, Jehovah God’s creation...be kind to one another and love with all your heart. I truly do love you and want All to be saved...but narrow is the gate.

Matthew 7:14 ASV — For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.

Jehovah loves all of His creation...do His will and live.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 ASV — Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

I Understand...Matthew 5:3; Isaiah 54

There's much to my life that no one ever knew, I've shared just a few below. Jehovah knows our struggles. He see's everything and knows the intentions of the heart. Many of us go through many hardships...struggles that many are not aware of, not even our closest friend or relative. We are all unique, with unique experiences...some good and unfortunately, some bad.

I want many of you to know that I UNDERSTAND, I've been there. Through my life, Jehovah has given me the ability to see people, not just what's on the outside. An ugly book can have the most beautiful story inside, that is why you should never judge a book by it's cover. I've often wondered, what has happened to make that person so ugly on the outside, it makes me want to share my heart with them. You'd be amazed how a random act of kindness may draw out that persons inner heart.

Be kind, no matter how badly someone may treat you. (Exodus 23:5)

Daily text...

Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.—Matt. 5:3.

How do we show that we are conscious of that need? We do so by taking in spiritual food, cherishing spiritual values, and giving priority to worshipping the happy God. If we take those steps, our happiness will grow. We will strengthen our faith in the coming fulfillment of God’s promises. (Titus 2:13) Building a strong relationship with Jehovah is a vital part of finding lasting happiness. The apostle Paul was inspired to write: “Always rejoice in the Lord [Jehovah]. Again I will say, Rejoice!” (Phil. 4:4) To enjoy such a precious relationship, we need to acquire divine wisdom. (Prov. 3:13, 18) However, to be lastingly happy, it is vital that we not only read God’s Word but apply it. Confirming the importance of putting into practice what we learn, Jesus said: “If you know these things, happy you are if you do them.” (John 13:17; Jas. 1:25) This is the key to satisfying your spiritual need and being lastingly happy.

Draw Close to Jehovah

God invites you to draw close to him.

Faithful until the End ~ Hebrews 3:6

Update 6/26/21: Those with faith in the scriptures are Jehovah's people. Regardless if you are a unitarian or a trinitarian, if you believe in the Bible and have faith, you are His people. Romans 10:8-13 Remember never to step on someone else's food as to make them stumble. 1Corinthians 8:1-13 Having been a part of the JW Organization, I can speak on them with my own experiences. Having made a decision to leave in April 2021, I have come across similar issues with other churches (beliefs) as well. Heart condition. (Galatians 5:22, 23) No one is more righteous than another, we're all sinners. (John 3:16)

IT'S SIMPLE ~ LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

End of update.

Reasoning from the Scriptures

The Bible shows that there would be a great increase in knowledge of the truth during “the time of the end.” (Dan. 12:4)

First I would like to share a card set, a project I started a while back...I finally added many more cards to the set, it's almost complete, I have 3 more cards to go. I added crackle medium to some of the seahorses, for a more authentic look.

I have many completed, but here's a small sample of a few...

This post goes to ALL. It is very important for ALL to understand...believers and nonbelievers, same religious beliefs or not.

I would like to bring your attention to yesterday's text...although it references apostates, the focus will be on why some drift away and why many may be stumbled.

Lord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life.—John 6:68.

...The Bible describes such a slow change as ‘drifting away.’ (Heb. 2:1) Unlike one who intentionally draws away from the truth, one who drifts away does not do so deliberately.
__________________________________________________

If you read further, John 6:70 states: Jesus answered them: “I chose you twelve, did I not? Yet one of you is a slanderer." (Apostate)...Judas was among the 12 and betrayed Jesus.

An apostate is a betrayer of faith. In case anyone is wondering, I can assure you, I never have, nor will I ever betray my faith. I've always believed in Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Bible.

As a child, I fell away from my faith. Having had experience with this, I'd like to focus on why one would fall away from their faith. These are near and dear to my heart...because most never stopped loving Jehovah or believing in Jesus Christ and the Bible, the stopped believing in the organization.

There are many wolves within the organization of the JW's. (Acts 20:29) and there are many who may not realize that what they are doing is bad, very bad. (Eccl. 5:1

If you take one bad apple, what happens?

These will make some stumble (drift away). These will keep many "whom have faith in Jesus" from entering (stumbling block) and learning the truth. (Matt. 18:6)

It's very important to note:
NOT ALL WITNESSES ARE LIKE THAT. Many remain silent and are waiting patiently for Jehovah to make changes.

It's OUR responsibility as INDIVIDUALS to learn Bible truths. To draw close to Jehovah God and to know Jesus Christ. You don't have to agree with everything that happens within the organization...I DON'T. I follow the Bible "God's Word", not man's word. (Eph. 5:6)

This is an organization made up of imperfect people. WE'RE ALL IMPERFECT!!! Personally, I will continue to pray, especially for those who don't even see that what they are doing is bad. (Eccl. 5:1) It's not my place to judge them, NOR SHOULD IT BE YOURS. (Matt. 7:1, 2)

I believe they love Jehovah and Jesus Christ, unfortunately their views have become so clouded that they are unaware of just how much they idolize the organization, it truly saddens me...they don't see it and that may be due to pride.

See...

Please read or listen to the book of James or here's a few key scriptures to start with...

How many Jews were circumcised with an uncircumcised heart?
(Col. 2:18, 19) What are fine works? (Eph. 2: 8, 9) (Ja. 2:26) When doing "fine works" it's about behavior and how you carry yourself. (1 Peter 2:12-15Is your behavior honoring the Son? If you do not honor the Son, you do not honor the Father who sent him. (Joh. 5:23)

It's our responsibility as an individual to do what is right by Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. (Josh. 1: 8Ps. 1: 2) Don't allow someone's behavior or understanding stop you from learning the truth or become a cause of stumbling for you. Trust in Jehovah with all your heart. (Prov. 3:5)

QUESTION EVERYTHING, if it's not in the Bible, you don't have to take someone else's understanding of it. That doesn't make you a bad person, that makes you smart. Trust in Jehovah and He will guide you. (Prov. 4:18)

You don't have to go by what others do, choose to be around "like-minded" ones, you just have to find them...trust me, THERE ARE MANY. My allegiance is NOT to the organization or to any man, IT IS TO JEHOVAH GOD. (Eccl. 5:4,5) If anyone disagrees with that, then the above links are for you...Idolatry and Pride. Remember the days of Moses.

I honor both, Jehovah and Jesus Christ. (Matt. 11:25 -27)

I don't preach because I want one to become a JW, I preach to you because I want one to know the truth that is written in the Bible...the truth about Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. In the end, what you do with that knowledge, is up to you.

If you're one who believes in the "trinity" ~ Triune God, please compare Bibles, be smart...ask questions and don't go off someone else's understanding of it. If you're one who says JW's don't ask questions and they just follow blindly, ask yourself...are you one that's doing same?

Romans 14:11 ASV — For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, And every tongue shall confess to God.
  •  Where is it written?
Isaiah 45:23 ASV — By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Let's read a few verses before that to see who is speaking. I will highlight it in red.

Isaiah 45:21-22 ASV — Declare ye, and bring it forth; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath showed this from ancient time? who hath declared it of old? have not I, Jehovah? and there is no God else besides me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none besides me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.
  • Who is the head of Christ?
1 Corinthians 11:3 ASV — But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

That scripture, when read properly refers to Jehovah, states "that EVERY knee will bend to Jehovah" that includes EVERYONE, me and you, same faith or not, believers or nonbelievers...so why not start now?

You will be amazed on how the Bible will come to life (Heb. 4:12), and how much LOVE Jehovah will give to those searching for him. (Matt. 6:6, 21; 7:7)

This image posted is from my King James Bible - Psalm 83:18.

This scripture using Jehovah's "name" is in many Bibles, and CLEARLY STATES...JEHOVAH ALONE is the Most High over all the earth, not Jesus. Please, it's up to you as an individual to draw close to Jehovah God, learn Bible truths or let others stumble you...that includes the TEACHINGS FROM YOUR OWN RELIGIOUS LEADERS. Remember (Eph. 5:6) let no man deceive you.

I'll ask again...why remove Jehovah's name? Is it meant to confuse you? (2 Co. 11:14)  (Jer. 23:27Think for yourself...is LORD/Lord actually a title, or a name? It clearly states "Jehovah" is His name in Ps. 83:18. Please listen to what He is telling you, it means your life. (Matt. 7:14)

See...

I'm TRULY not afraid of "man" when I have Jehovah by my side.
What can man do to me? (Ps. 118:6; Heb. 13:6

I fear Jehovah. (Prov. 2:5)

For I am convinced that nothing will separate me from God’s love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8: 38, 39

I love you and I trust that all you want...is to know the TRUTH. (Joh. 8:32) So please don't allow anyone to stumble you...if you're one who left Jehovah, now is the time to return, please.

A Time of Testing and Sifting
Excerpt...
“And suddenly there will come to His temple the true Lord, whom you people are seeking, and the messenger of the covenant . . . And he must sit as a refiner and cleanser.”—MALACHI 3:1, 3.

4. Why does Jehovah allow testing and sifting among his people?

4 Jehovah allows testing and sifting so as to refine, or purify, his people, helping them to reflect more accurately his image. (Ephesians 5:1) In the refining process, he skims off the dross by clearing away unclean teachings and practices. (Isaiah 1:25) He also sifts out from among his people those who refuse to submit to the refining process and who “cause stumbling and persons who are doing lawlessness.” This clears the way for “the sons of the kingdom,” the spiritual Israelites, to shine with brightness so that an earthly class can also be gathered and cleave to them organizationally for survival.—Matthew 13:38, 41, 43; Philippians 2:15.

Excerpt...
WHEN IS THE SLAVE APPOINTED OVER ALL THE MASTERS BELONGINGS?
15, 16. When does Jesus appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings?
...Jesus’ “arriving,” or “coming,” in the illustration of the faithful slave happens during the great tribulation.

This generation (A-Z), the first - last of the anointed.

Pay attention to Daniel's Prophecy

  • Governing Body has to consider spiritual implications.
  • Clarification on our beliefs.
  • Clarification on one scripture can have a domino effect on others.
  • Clarification on one scripture can have ramification on other prophecies.

Jehovah protects His loyal ones. (Ps. 97:10, Zech. 2:8)

Always, always...Trust in Jehovah!

Baptism - Circumcision of the Heart.

I made this from a plain wooden box many years ago, I came across the photo and thought I'd share it along with today's post. I'm currently working on some new projects that I plan to send out to some family and friends.

Pretty array of flowers.

Pearls and a lovely Butterfly.

I'm sharing with you the daily text from yesterday.
It is my hope that many will come to understand the meaning of circumcision and uncircumcision.

Daily text...Wednesday, November 25
Unless you get circumcised . . . , you cannot be saved.—Acts 15:1.

Under Christ’s direction, the governing body made it clear that non-Jewish Christians did not need to be circumcised. (Acts 15:19, 20) ...Some found it hard to accept that circumcision was no longer a sign of a special relationship with God. (Gen. 17:9-12) ...In time, though, Christ provided further guidance through inspired letters written by Paul.—Rom. 2:28, 29; Gal. 3:23-25

Galatians 2:3
Nevertheless, not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, although he was a Greek.

For in union with Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is of any value, but faith operating through love is.

Romans 2:28, 29
28 For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision something on the outside, on the flesh. 29 But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and his circumcision is that of the heart by spirit and not by a written code. That person’s praise comes from God, not from people.

JEW(ESS)
“For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision that which is on the outside upon the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and his circumcision is that of the heart by spirit, and not by a written code.

Circumcision
Excerpt...
Figurative Usage
‘Circumcision of the heart’ means getting rid of anything in one’s thinking, affections, or motives that is displeasing and unclean in Jehovah’s eyes and that makes the heart unresponsive. Similarly, ears that are not sensitive or responsive are spoken of as “uncircumcised.”—Jer 6:10Ac 7:51.

Letter to the Romans...
Paul stresses the undeserved kindness of God through Christ, and he emphasizes that it is only by this undeserved kindness on God’s part, coupled with faith on the part of the believer, that men are declared righteous; he notes that neither Jew nor Gentile has any basis for boasting or for lifting himself above the other.

Who are the Israelites "Jehovah's people" today? Is it Jehovah's Witnesses? If so, ask yourself, what happened to them?

God’s View of War in the First Century
"Therefore, as a nation, they lost their special relationship with God.—Matthew 23:37, 38."

There can only be one True house of God. Those who know the difference between Jehovah "Jews" and Jesus Christ "Christians" and the Holy Spirit. Those who know what Love is. (1 Corinthians 3:16, 17; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7; 1 Corinthians 8)

To those whom still believe in the Trinity (triune God), please study the scriptures and learn the truth, as it will set you free. (John 8:32)

NOTE: There is no scripture that backs up the following article in the Watchtower...

The following is a FALSE STATEMENT...

Watchtower April 1, 2009
A Twofold Process

First, a person repents of his sins, turns away from a wrong course, dedicates his life to Jehovah to worship and serve him, and makes his dedication public by water baptism. Then, if God chooses him to serve as a ruler in His Kingdom, he is anointed with holy spirit.

The first part of this twofold process (baptism with water) is initiated by the individual; the second part (baptism with spirit) is initiated by God. When a person undergoes both baptisms, he has experienced the new birth.

[Footnote]

In a similar way, the apostle Peter once said at an occasion of baptism: “Can anyone forbid water?”—Acts 10:47.

First, the following scripture shows that one is chosen before they are born.

as he chose us to be in union with him before the founding of the world, that we should be holy and unblemished before him in love.

Second, the footnote actually takes you to the days of Cornelius (Acts 10:47), when the free gift of the holy spirit was being poured out also on people of the nations before they were baptized in water.

This was to prove that God is not partial, he accepts any who do what is right and are acceptable to Him. (Acts 10: 34, 35)

"Man" is made up of imperfect beings. It is your RESPONSIBILITY... follow JEHOVAH and study the Holy Scriptures, or you can follow "Man" (religion)...the choice is yours.

"Why have there been changes over the years in the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses?

The Bible shows that there would be a great increase in knowledge of the truth during “the time of the end.” (Dan. 12:4) Increased knowledge often requires adjustments in one’s thinking. Jehovah’s Witnesses are willing humbly to make such adjustments."

Have JW's made the changes?

William Malenfant: “Become One Flock” (John 10:16)
  • We don't need to know who all the anointed are.
  • ...of what concern is that to you.
  • 2 Timothy 2:19 - Jehovah knows those who belong to him.
We don't need to know who ANY of the anointed are. You are to honor Jehovah and Jesus Christ. I'm not Jehovah...how can I possibly know who truly is or is not anointed. Why was this question about the anointed asked of me, just before my baptism questions? What concern is that to you? For that matter, why was this used to deny me my baptism? Can anyone deny that I honor Jehovah God or follow Jesus Christ? Can anyone deny that I am a true Christian?

To any whom believe baptism of water gives you status above any other, please revisit your thoughts.

One is fully dedicated (circumcision of the heart) to Jehovah before baptism (public display), if you don't agree with that, then you shouldn't be baptized.

How many Jehovah's Witnesses are baptized and NOT doing Jehovah's will today? MANY.

Ecclesiastes 5:1 (NWT)
Guard your feet whenever you go to the house of the [true] God; and let there be a drawing near to hear, rather than to give a sacrifice as the stupid ones do, for they are not aware of doing what is bad.

Who are the stupid ones?

21 Then came Peter and said to him, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? until seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.

Please, if you truly believe in Jehovah, then Study the Bible...know the Holy Scriptures.

(Paragraph 17)
...The role of elders in the Christian congregation is by no means that of kings. Nevertheless, as was true of the kings, it is vital that elders read and meditate on God’s Word. Their doing so will help them to maintain a proper view of those entrusted to their care. It will also enable them to fulfill their responsibility as teachers in a manner that truly honors God and spiritually fortifies fellow Christians.—Titus 1:9; compare John 7:16-18; contrast 1 Timothy 1:6, 7.

When getting baptized...
Water baptism is initiated by the individual.

What are the 2 greatest commandments?

‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind’ and  ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’(Matthew 22:37-39)

Matthew 28:18, 19
18 Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,

As much as I appreciate many within the organization, I didn't want to get baptized for Jehovah's Witnesses, I wanted to get baptized for Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the holy spirit.

Do JW's actually baptize (say these words when baptizing) in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit?  Is there scripture that says you must get baptized into a church or organization? (Acts 8:27-31, 35-38)

I was told by an elder of my congregation that he trusts I love Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Bible, this just a day after from being told I can no longer be an unbaptized publisher, nor comment at the meetings. Why? Because I won't teach something written in the Watchtower that can't be proven in Bible scripture. Not only is it not in scripture, but I know for fact, that it's not true

Fortunately, that has not stopped me from preaching for Jehovah, Jesus Christ and about God's Kingdom, nor has it stopped me from teaching my students Bible Truths using the Holy Scriptures and the organization, nor has it hindered my attending the meetings...and as much as they hurt me, because they are imperfect, I still love my brothers and sisters in faith.

Remember this...If I'm wrong, then that's between me and Jehovah, BUT...if I'm right, those who are denied me my baptism, knowing fully well how dedicated I am to Jehovah, will have to answer to Jehovah.

There's a reason why we ask questions, and don't just rely on "man" and need go to the scriptures, because "man" is imperfect. (Ephesians 5:6) After all, isn't that what we preach? How many times has "man" gotten it wrong? Why have the Jehovah's Witnesses made many changes along the way?

TRUST IN JEHOVAH...it's okay to ask questions and rely on the Holy Scriptures. If you're afraid of what "man" might do to you, then you don't have enough faith in Jehovah.

LOVE without hypocrisy (1Timothy 1:5)...I will continue to pray for you and All peoples of the nations.

Serving Jehovah with a Complete Heart
Excerpt...
The whole record of the Bible, including the ministry of God’s Son, Christ Jesus, testifies to the fact that the Sovereign God Jehovah wants to be served with a complete heart—or not at all.

Video: I Can Get Back Up
As a child, I left Jehovah because of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and that's where I went wrong. As an adult, I know not to make that same mistake again. I am a Witness for Jehovah and He has taught me well. One goes to meetings for Jehovah, not for the Jehovah's Witnesses.

There was a reason why God brought the truth to me and called me from the darkness to the light. Within my heart, he saw the longing that I had to search for him and practice what is right. I promised him in prayer to do his will. He helped me then, and he will help me still.

Narrow is the Gate...

With so many Christians in this world, why is the gate so narrow?

Matthew 7:13 ASV — Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.

UPDATE: This was a turning point for me. I knew JW.ORG was still riddled with many problems, I just didn't understand the extent of it. I still had to unlearn many false teachings. It took time, but Jehovah has taught me well. He allowed me to see the injustices, while still guiding me to the light properly, in a progressive manner. (Proverbs 4:18) I was taught by Jesus Christ to love anyway, no matter how much they continue to persecute you. (Matthew 5:44
I was SILENCED by the Jehovah's Witnesses for asking questions about some teachings they had and for claiming to be anointed by God.

I am so grateful to Jehovah.

I would like to start this post by sharing with you this fun, interactive card.
This was made for a childhood friend. She wanted to give a special card to a sister that was recently baptized.

1 Corinthians 16:9 ASV — for a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

I layered the card with a vellum sheet, it is meant to be lifted up, so the message can be written.

She can write her message on the removable insert that was attached with washi tape.

The recipient can than remove the message sent to them, write a new message, and send it to another.
When they're ready to replace the insert, they will be surprised to see that it reveals another message.

This card is interactive and made with lots of love.
It is meant to pass forward to another.

I decorated a smaller envelope to include 6 inserts, 12 small pieces of washi tape and instructions. Once all inserts have been used, they can use the plain white envelope for the card and plastic clear sleeve that was included for the final mailing.

I want to clarify that the following information is in no way meant to offend anyone, it is meant out of love. It is my hope that as the end of this system of things approaches, that no one falls into the snare of the devil. It's just a reminder that Jehovah requires exclusive devotion to Him, not the organization that is run by imperfect men. We respect the positions appointed to each individual and must not put them on a pedestal. It's a reminder of what not to do.

What is idolatry?

1 Corinthians 10:7 ASV — Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Study Notes from NWT...
Neither become idolaters, as some of them did: Paul here refers to the occasion when the Israelites worshipped a golden calf at the foot of Mount Sinai. (Ex 32:1-6) They directly violated Jehovah’s command against that wicked practice, a law that they had agreed to obey just a few weeks earlier. (Ex 20:4-6; 24:3) They apparently did not intend to reject Jehovah as their God; Aaron even called their idolatrous celebration “a festival to Jehovah.” However, the Israelites fell into the trap of trying to mix the worship of Jehovah with idolatry.

Excerpt...
An idol is an image, a representation of anything, or a symbol that is an object of passionate devotion, whether material or imagined. Generally speaking, idolatry is the veneration, love, worship, or adoration of an idol. It is usually practiced toward a real or supposed higher power, whether such power is believed to have animate existence (as a human, an animal, or an organization) or is inanimate (as a force or lifeless object of nature).

To the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW)...

As JW, one needs to be careful not to become like the Israelites in the days of Moses. Ask yourself... are you proud to be a JW? or, are you proud to be a Witness for Jehovah?

What's the difference?

You need to check your pride, if your proud in a loving way, proud to be a Witness for Jehovah, that's great, you should be. He's our loving Father... our caring Creator. But, if you are putting emphasis on being baptized as a way that gives you status above those who are not? You are then putting pride on JW themselves, and not on Jehovah.

Please click your own link on...Pride

When you separate those who are dedicated from those who are baptized it creates division.

1 Corinthians 1:10 ASV — Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

How so?

Because those who are truly dedicated to Jehovah are dedicated well before baptism. They don't use baptism as way to be dedicated. Baptism is a public display of your dedication.

So when it comes to dedication, what's the difference between an unbaptized publisher or a baptized publisher? Nothing. You should continue to be just as dedicated. The only privilege I want and need, I already have, and it's the best privilege of all...preaching for Jehovah.

Isaiah 43:10 ASV — Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Ask yourself, what's more important to Jehovah? Your private dedication to him, way before baptism, or your baptism...the public display?

If you're one who puts emphasis on baptized JW, by putting JW on a pedestal...be it the governing body, circuit overseer, elders or yourself...then that's a problem. There's only one who is above all else, and that's Jehovah.

Trusting in Jehovah and Jesus Christ, is not trusting in "man." As witnesses for Jehovah, you know that the spiritual food put out by the JW organization must be backed by scripture, the organization is run by "man" by imperfect people, whether you believe they are anointed or not, they are still imperfect. Please do not put them up on a pedestal.

Let's respect all the positions appointed to each individual who are given holy spirit to serve Jehovah, male and female, regardless of who they are and what they do.

Be careful not to turn the organization or anyone in it, into an idol. Everything taught, must be taught through the Bible. If it's not explicit in the Bible, then you have the right to question it and it should not be held against you. If it can't be explained clearly, then one must keep digging until it can be made clear. (Hebrews 4:12; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1, 2)

If you claim something to be a certain way, but can't show how it is, and it's still not made clear, then maybe you are the one who is misunderstanding. One of the worst things you can tell someone is "that you just know it to be true or that it's something you come to understand in time."

Why is it that one of the worst things you can do?

Ask one who has had, or still has the belief of the trinity? When you show them scripture that proves differently, many will tell you it's a belief and understanding that can't always be explained.

So I ask, what if something can be explained in one direction (Cornelius), but can't be explained through scripture in the other direction (you cannot be anointed before baptism), what would be more logical?

"Bearing Thorough Witness" About God's Kingdom
Excerpt...
CHAPTER 14
“We Have Come to a Unanimous Accord”
How the governing body reached a decision and the unifying effect it had on the congregations
Based on Acts 15:13-35

Acts 15:17 ASV — That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called,

I may not be a baptized Jehovah's Witness, but I am a Witness for Jehovah.

Romans 2:26 ASV — If therefore the uncircumcision keep the ordinances of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision?

If you push the narrative that is in the least logical direction, yet, you can't prove it in scripture, is it okay to say "well it's something you come to understand in time" or that "Jesus set the pattern"?

Does that not start to fall in the same line as those who believe in the trinity?

To tell any individual they are wrong for feeling the way they do when it comes to Jehovah, is wrong, you don't have that right. Remember, only Jehovah knows the hearts, not you. (Proverbs 17:3; 1 Samuel 16:7)

Can anyone deny that I am a true Christian? That I love Jehovah and Jesus Christ?...and that I love them with all of my heart?

I have proudly dedicated myself to Jehovah and I will continue to be dedicated to Jehovah for the rest of my life.

If you truly believe in Jehovah, then as a reminder you should reread one of the most recent articles regarding this matter.

STUDY ARTICLE 4
“The Spirit Itself Bears Witness”
Excerpt...

8 Jehovah leaves no doubt whatsoever in the minds and hearts of those who receive his invitation to go to heaven. (Read 1 John 2:20, 27.) Of course, anointed Christians need to be taught by Jehovah through the congregation just like everyone else. But they do not need anyone to confirm that they are anointed. Jehovah has used the most powerful force in the universe, his holy spirit, to make it absolutely clear to them that they are anointed!

STUDY ARTICLE 5
We Will Go With You
Excerpt...

14 Jehovah decides when he will choose anointed ones. (Rom. 8:28-30) Jehovah began choosing anointed ones after Jesus was resurrected. It seems that in the first century, all true Christians were anointed. In the centuries that followed, most of those who claimed that they were Christians did not really follow Christ. Even so, during those years, Jehovah anointed the few who were true Christians. They were like the wheat that Jesus said would grow among the weeds. (Matt. 13:24-30) During the last days, Jehovah has continued to choose people who will be part of the 144,000. * So if God decides to choose some of these just before the end, surely we should not question his wisdom. (Read Romans 9:11, 16.) * We must be careful not to react like the workers whom Jesus described in one of his illustrations. They complained about the way their master treated those who started working in the last hour.—Matt. 20:8-15.

CHAPTER 97
Illustration of the Workers in the Vineyard

Do not become like the Israelites in the wilderness or the workers of the field.

“Keep doing all things free from murmurings.”—Philippians 2:14.

True Christians will follow the examples taught to us by Jesus, and then lead by them.

Matthew 22:37-39 ASV — And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

That means all peoples of the nations. That means you and me, any who have been disfellowshipped, who are inactive, those who know the truth, and those who do not. Do not judge, you don't have that right, we're all imperfect. Reflection.

TRUST IN JEHOVAH and Live!
Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.”—PROV. 3:5.

I don't go to the meetings for the Jehovah's Witnesses, I go to the meetings for Jehovah.
