Hidden within... the name of God

“Yod the diagonal stroke in a Z”

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” declares Jehovah.

— Isaiah 55:8-9

Not even the smallest jot will pass away (Matthew 5:18).

The yod—a mark so small it could be missed—
yet held by God as complete.

A single stroke.
A hidden point.
And still, it carries the weight of His Word.

The yod speaks of the hand—
what we do, what we shape,
what we bring into the world.

But Scripture does not leave the hand alone.

It brings us to the feet.

“See my hands and my feet” (Luke 24:39),
He says—
not only to be seen, but to be known.
The marks remain.
The work is visible.
The path is proven.

And before hands are lifted in action,
Mary sits at His feet (Luke 10:39),
where understanding begins,
where the heart is aligned
before the life is lived.

Hands and feet.
Action and direction.
Together, they tell the story of a life before God.

And still—
it begins with the smallest mark.

                      

 

In an ancient fragment, the name of God appears
not fully written, but gathered,
two small yods drawn together,
compressed into a single form—
a line, a flash, a shape that could be mistaken
for something ordinary.

Yet hidden within it
is the name of God.

So it is with the things that mark us.

There are marks we receive in life—
and there are marks we carry from the beginning.

A birthmark.
A shape.
Something written into the body before memory.

On its own, it is only a form—
silent, without explanation.

But God, who forms us in the womb (Psalm 139:13–14),
is not silent.

He is able to take what is seen
and draw the heart toward what is unseen.

Not because the mark defines the meaning—
but because He gives the meaning.

There are marks in Scripture as well—
a mark placed by God (Ezekiel 9:4),
marks borne in the body through suffering (Galatians 6:17),
a name written by His hand (Revelation 22:4).

Not all are visible to others.
Not all are understood at once.
But all belong to Him.

And so even something familiar—
a line, a shape, a mark that resembles a sign—
may become, in time,
a point where attention turns
and the heart begins to ask.

The last letter of our alphabet—Z—
stands at the end,
as Christ declares:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the beginning and the end” (Revelation 22:13).

From first to last.
From the smallest jot
to the final letter.

Nothing is outside His reach.

🌿 And so the pattern unfolds:

The jot—the smallest mark.
The hand—what we do.
The feet—where we walk.
The marks—what is carried, seen or unseen.
The end—held in Him who began it all.

His hand is through her who is at the feet, which marks the end.

God is present in both the hidden and the whole—
in the smallest point,
and in the fullness of a life lived.

What is written may be small.
It may be easily overlooked.

But in His hands,
even the smallest mark
can become the beginning of understanding.

"What this woman did 

will also be spoken of in memory of her.” 

— Mark 14:9

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, in Your name did we not prophesy, 

and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many miracles?’ 

And then I will declare to them, 

‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

— Matthew 7:22-23

Then He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each man in the room of his carved images? For they say, ‘Jehovah does not see us; Jehovah has forsaken the land.’” And He said to me, “Yet you will see still greater abominations which they are doing.” Then He brought me to the entrance of the gate of the house of Jehovah which was toward the north; and behold, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz. He said to me, “Do you see this, son of man? Yet you will see still greater abominations than these.” Then He brought me into the inner court of the house of Jehovah. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of Jehovah, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs to the temple of Jehovah and their faces toward the east; and they were prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.

Then a strong angel picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down with violence, and will not be found any longer. And the sound of harpists and musicians and flute-players and trumpeters will not be heard in you any longer; and no craftsman of any craft will be found in you any longer; and the sound of a mill will not be heard in you any longer; and the light of a lamp will not shine in you any longer; and the voice of the bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you any longer; for your merchants were the great men of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery. And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints and of all who have been slain on the earth.”

🔹 Closing Reflection ~ What Was Given

Series 4 - Post 1: Come Out of Her, My People (Addendum)

As I just read Amos 5, I was struck by something familiar.

The chapter was not written to the nations.

It was written to God's people.

They had assemblies.

They had songs.

They had offerings.

They had religious gatherings.

Yet God said:

"I hate, I reject your festivals,

Nor do I delight in your solemn assemblies."

"Take away from Me the noise of your songs."

— Amos 5:21,23

Why?

Because worship had become disconnected from the One being worshipped.

The people had the form but were missing the heart.

Instead of telling them to become more religious, God gave a simple instruction:

"Seek Me that you may live."

— Amos 5:4

Seek Me.

• Not a system.
• Not a tradition.
• Not an institution.

Me.

The same pattern appears throughout Scripture.

In Genesis 6, humanity followed its own ways while Noah walked with God.

In Genesis 11, the people gathered together and said: 

"Come, let us build for ourselves a city and a tower."

Humanity trusted in what it could build.

God scattered them.

Again and again, the pattern repeats.

People build.

People gather.

People organize.

People establish systems.

Then eventually those systems become more important than God Himself.

The prophets repeatedly called God's people back to the Source.

Isaiah wrote:

Then the Lord said,

“Because this people draw near with their mouth

And honor Me with their lips,

But they remove their hearts far from Me,

And their fear of Me is in the command of men learned by rote [without any regard for its meaning], 

— Isaiah 29:13 

The issue was never worship.

The issue was where the heart was placed.

This same warning appears in the parable of the ten virgins.

All ten slept.

Not five.

All ten.

When the cry finally came, the foolish virgins went to the dealers to obtain what they lacked.

I often wonder:

Why were they seeking elsewhere what only God could provide?

The cry had already gone forth.

The Bridegroom was near.

Yet instead of turning directly toward Him, they went searching through other sources.

The pattern feels familiar.


Scripture speaks of a great call at the end:

"Come out of her, My people."

— Revelation 18:4

Notice the wording.

God does not say become part of another system.

He says come out.

The call is away from confusion and back to Him.

Paul speaks of a mystery already at work:

"For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work."

— 2 Thessalonians 2:7

John speaks of Babylon.

The prophets speak of corruption.

Jesus speaks of sleeping virgins.

The pattern is consistent.

Humanity builds.

God calls.

Many sleep.

A remnant awakens.

The call remains unchanged.

Seek Me and live.

Perhaps that is why Amos still speaks so powerfully today.

The answer was never more religion.

The answer was never a larger tower.

The answer was never a stronger institution.

The answer has always been the same:

"Seek Me and live."

Those who remain; shaken, but not taken...

‘Where is their God?’” —

The sun will be turned into darkness

 Who will you be?

Only God knows...

In that day the Branch of Jehovah will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the honor of those of Israel *who escape.

And it will be that EVERYONE (Revelation 7:9,13-14) who calls on the name of Jehovah

Will be delivered;

For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem

There will be those *who escape,

As Jehovah has said,

Even among the remnant (Revelation 7:3-4) whom Jehovah calls.

The remnant… (144,000)

saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of those having been sealed, 144,000 sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.

Jehovah said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, even through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being done in its midst.”

To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

The Lord gives the word;

God is to us a God of salvation;

And to Jehovah the Lord belong ways of escape from death.

Church of God or Church of Rome?

Transhumanism, it's not coming, it's inside you already...

The Cross... Walking by Faith or by Sight

The deceiving snake representing sin.

Then Jehovah God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” 

And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

— Genesis 3:13

• Does the serpent (staff) represent sin above all sin getting tossed to the ground?

“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Work a miraculous wonder,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh, that it may become a serpent.’” So Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and thus they did just as Jehovah had commanded; and Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent.

— Exodus 7:9-10

And 👉 each one threw down his staff, and they became 👉 serpents. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.

— Exodus 7:12

• Wouldn't this represent sin hanging on a cross as a reminder of the evil?

So Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people so that many people of Israel died. Then the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned because we have spoken against Jehovah and against you; pray to Jehovah, that He may remove the serpents from us.” And Moses prayed for the people. Then Jehovah said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and set it on a standard; and it will be that everyone who is bitten and looks at it, will live.”

• Did God's people turn what was a reminder of evil into an object of worship?

He took away the high places and shattered the sacred pillars and cut down the Asherah. And he broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the sons of Israel were burning incense to it; and it was called Nehushtan.

• Although it was broken, is that where the serpent is rooted?

Jehovah has broken the staff of the wicked,

The scepter of rulers

— 

“Do not be glad, O Philistia, all of you,

Because the rod that struck you is broken;

For from the SERPENT’S ROOT a viper will come out,

And its fruit will be a flying fiery serpent.

— Isaiah 14:5, 29

• Who carries the sin above all sin?

They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the PLACE of a SKULL, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha.

— John 19:17

Perspective, it matters... 

The crucified Jesus reveals the greatest Sin, the deceiver (Satan) crucifying himself...

For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; 

and with what measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

— Matthew 7:2

Those of you who honor the cross have been deceived into honoring the very thing the represents sin, a murderer, who used the cross as a weapon to kill Jesus. Little did the murderer (SATAN) know he was deceived into judging himself. The greatest deceiver has been deceived by his own cunning and religion has followed in his footsteps.

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. For it is written,

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,

And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”

— 1 Corinthians 1:18-19

• Are we to walk by faith, or by sight?

“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or ANY LIKENESS of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.

— Exodus 20:4

Man-made religion has deceived countless into following deception...the cross, man-made traditions and MAN with their self-made religious creeds. They will twist the scriptures (2 Peter 3:16) and give you every excuse in the book to keep you following after them. (Acts 20:29-30)

For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ... for we walk by faith, not by sight.

— 2 Corinthians 5:1, 7

Jesus carried the greatest sin because it was the greatest monster in the sea, Leviathan (Satan). All carry sin that stems from that monster, sitting in the place of the skull (skull mountain), the mind. The serpent is where all sin stems from. 

The cross was not a good thing, it's a bad thing. Only those anointed with Holy Spirit, who received the mark on their forehead will understand the weapon needed to fight the demons, these giants. (Ezekiel 9:4)

Fighting that monster is what it means to carry the cross and cast out demons, one will suffer many unspeakable things because they align with God the Father, Jehovah and follow Jesus. They are part of Christ's body that has YET to be resurrected, Jesus being the head and first to resurrect. 

Unlike the FALSE TEACHINGS of EASTER...it is NOT FINISHED, soon the DOOR WILL BE SHUT and Babylon will fall.

But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.

— 1 Corinthians 11:3

But now there are many members, but one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; or again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” ... And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.

Jesus represents the Father because no one can physically see God, or they'd die (it's only by the SPIRIT). Have no doubt, it is the Father's plan, who is the ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD that gave Jesus the seal of authority to be the master of God's house.

The divided house can't stand...

Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal of a good conscience to God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.

• Was Jesus Christ here in the flesh, or was he God and Man, as MOST Christians confess?

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who DO NOT CONFESS Jesus Christ as coming in the 👉 flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

• Is Jesus triune?
• Is Jesus a true God from true God as per the Nicene Creed?
•  Or... was he here in the flesh, a man anointed by the Spirit and REPRESENTING GOD, the true God, my Father Jehovah?

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Deception, it runs deep...

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

God does not dwell in temples made by man. (Acts 7:48-53) These RESIST the Holy Spirit and APPOSE GOD, listening to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,

Let no one in any way deceive you, for it has not come unless the 👉 apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, 👉 so that he takes his seat in the sanctuary of God, exhibiting himself as being God.

The Cross (among other things; money, partiality, exultation/pride), is the mark of the beast and religion has deceived countless into honoring it and honoring them. It's all over church buildings; on altars and steeples reaching into heaven. It's in Bibles, jewelry, tattoos, and home decor...the list is long. It's a symbol of Christianity, yet it represents the harlot/antichrist that sin against God...it's Satan himself.

Thankfully, God preserves the remnant of true believers, these will have a full understanding of what the cross represents and they have to carry it daily...

In that day Jehovah of hosts will become a beautiful crown

And a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people;

— Isaiah 28:5

For out of Jerusalem will go forth a remnant and out of Mount Zion survivors. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will do this.”’

— Isaiah 37:32

Heed the warning... 

And it will be that everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah

Will be delivered;

For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem

There will be those who escape,

As Jehovah has said,

Even 👉 among the survivors (remnant) whom Jehovah calls.

— Joel 2:32

History has repeated itself...Christianity (all sects) following in the steps of Judaism. This is a spiritual war, it's not against flesh and blood, only those awakened/anointed in the Spirit (remnant) will have a true comprehension of what this all means, but flesh and blood still have the freewill to choose a side. 

I personally know some who are not anointed but have asked for Holy Spirit, allowing the Spirit to guide them while doing their best to fight the good fight and follow God. It's BEAUTIFUL. (Luke 11:13)

What does it mean to put on the armor of God?

Do you not know that you are a sanctuary of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the sanctuary of God, God will destroy him, for the sanctuary of God is holy, and that is what you are.
