All those who were rightly disposed for everlasting life became believers.​—Acts 13:48. 

If we are patient with people in the ministry, we will not expect them to understand or accept Bible truth the first time they hear it. As an example, consider how we might reason with someone about the hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth. Many believe that death is the end of it all or that all good people go to heaven. One brother relates an approach that he finds effective. 

First, he reads Genesis 1:28. 

Then, he asks the householder where and in what conditions God wanted the human family to live. Most people answer, “On earth, in good conditions.” Next, the brother reads Isaiah 55:11 and asks whether God’s purpose has changed. Often, the householder will answer no. Finally, the brother reads Psalm 37:10, 11 and asks what mankind’s future will be like. Using this Scriptural reasoning, he has helped a number of people to understand that God still wants good people to live forever in Paradise on earth. w19.03 24 ¶14-15; 25 ¶19

Live in the Moment

In today's trying times we need to stay positive and focus on what's good. Here's another project share from many years back. Due to the Corona Virus the JW Assembly has been canceled, unfortunately, I don't see myself getting baptized on that day, but it's okay, because I am still very content with knowing that I've already devoted myself to Jehovah.

Psalms 16: 7-11

7 I will praise Jehovah, who has given me advice. Even during the night, my innermost thoughts correct me.

8 I keep Jehovah before me constantly. Because he is at my right hand, I will never be shaken.

9 So my heart rejoices, my whole being is joyful. And I reside in security.

10 For you will not leave me in the Grave. You will not allow your loyal one to see the pit.

11 You make known to me the path of life. In your presence is abundant joy; There is happiness at your right hand forever.

Well-Watered Garden

Isaiah 58:11

Jehovah will always lead you And satisfy you even in a parched land; He will invigorate your bones, And you will become like a well-watered garden, Like a spring whose waters never fail.

Generations - Limited Edition

Here is a vintage page I also created several years ago as a design team member at Art Anthology. From generation to generation many of us face a lot of dark places, places we don't want to be in or go to. As I go through my journey and study of the bible, I realize more and more why it was so important for me to return to my roots. 

It's s a beautiful thing, to be able to smile again, as I did as a child. I've truly been blessed.

I do thank Jehovah, our God, who is my heavenly Father.

Psalms 131:2 

 I have calmed and quieted my soul... I am contented like a weaned child.

When our life takes an unexpected turn, the changes that we have to face may cause us apprehension and emotional stress. (Prov. 12:25) 

We may even find it hard to accept those changes. In such circumstances, how can we ‘calm and quiet’ our soul? (Ps. 131:1-3) 

 Despite adverse circumstances, we today can experience firsthand the soothing effect of “the peace of God” that guards our mental powers. (Phil. 4:6, 7) 

Thus, if we turn to Jehovah when we feel overwhelmed by anxiety, God’s peace can strengthen our determination to reach spiritual goals and guard us against any tendency to give up. In addition to calming us down, God’s spirit can draw our attention to key scriptures that will help us to keep our spiritual priorities.​—John 14:26, 27.

Journey

What an Amazing journey that I have been on, for about a year now. As I have reflected on my past, the memories of my childhood to where I am today, I'm still amazed by it all. I know that I'm on my way to something so beautiful, peaceful and loving and the more I draw closer to Jehovah, the more clear that picture becomes. I have been truly blessed.

You Make Life Beautiful & Shine Your Light

Art Journals are another good and quick way to express creativity and without much fuss. Keeping it simple with paints, ink sprays, stamps and gel pen and a bit of texture directly on the page, or through a stencil. To create a bit more interest, I simply used white paint splatter on the first journal and pan pastels on the face for the second one.

Lighthouse ~ By the Sea

Keeping this post simple. This project I created a few years back. Keeping with the "By the Sea" saying looks nice, but I plan to eventually switch it out for an actual photo, just haven't taken the right one yet. You'll find a YouTube step by step video posted below.
